PM at European Council June 2014

David Cameron attended June’s European Council, which included a ceremony to mark the Centenary of the start of the First World War.

Today (Friday) leaders attended the European Council in Brussels.

Association Agreements with Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine were signed. Leaders also discussed deregulation and the European Semester, Ukraine and the appointment of the next European Commission President.

Yesterday (Thursday) European leaders attended a memorial ceremony in Ypres to mark the Centenary of the start of the First World War. They then discussed the EU’s strategic agenda for the next 5 years at a working dinner.
