The closing date for responding to the consultation on Public Health England’s (PHE’s) ‘Knowledge Strategy: harnessing the power of information to improve the public’s health’ has been extended to 22 November 2013.

PHE aims to deliver an internationally recognised, high performing knowledge and intelligence service encompassing research, statistics and know-how. This knowledge will inform and support public health practice and drive improvements in public health.

This strategy sets out the approach that PHE will take. It is focused around the 8 priorities for public health knowledge identified by PHE and addresses the entire information lifecycle ‒ from understanding the needs of those who are using public health knowledge through to what technologies PHE will use to disseminate knowledge.

For more information and details of how to respond, visit the consultation page on the PHE website.
