The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is the successor body to the Competition Commission and the Office of Fair Trading. This new organisation will build on the existing work of the UK competition authorities to promote competition, within and outside the UK. Our mission is to make markets work well in the interests of consumers, businesses and the economy. Our ambition is to be a world-leading competition and consumer agency.

The CMA is currently recruiting:

  • Assistant project directors, to work across a diverse range of projects including: competition and consumer enforcement, mergers, markets and regulatory appeals projects. These projects are often high profile, complex and precedent-setting with significant market impact.

  • Project managers/advisers, to play a key role as part of multidisciplinary teams in delivering a range of high quality, legally robust and timely projects. The role will vary from project to project and will depend on your skills and experience.
