Non-UK Authorised Epityl product seized
Non-UK Authorised Epityl product for dogs originating from Bulgaria stopped at Colnbrook International depot.
A package containing an illegal veterinary medicine was identified at a depot in Colnbrook destined for an address in London.
The medicine was detained and subsequently seized by an Inspector from the VMD.
The following medicine was seized:
- 1 x box Epityl flavoured tablets for dogs 60 mg
This product is not authorised for use in GB or NI and was not accompanied by any relevant certification to permit its import.
The medicine was seized under Regulation 25 (Importation of unauthorised veterinary medicinal products) of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013.
