Department of Health publishes National Cancer Peer Review Programme report 2010-2011

The Department has published a recent report which provides information on a national overview of the findings from the National Cancer Peer Review Programme for 2010-2011.  It focuses on compliance with specific measures included in the Manual for Cancer Services which supports quality assurance of cancer services and enables quality improvement and the implementation of NICE Improvement Outcomes Guidance.

The document also identifies key themes nationally, and by tumour type, and confirms progress being made during 2009-2010 since the 2004 - 2008 peer review round.
