Minister Wheeler responds to further missile tests by North Korea

The Minister for Asia and the Pacific makes a statement following another missile test by North Korea

Minister of State for Asia and the Pacific Heather Wheeler said:

We are deeply concerned that North Korea has conducted a submarine-launched ballistic missile test.

This follows ten other sets of ballistic missile tests this year and is another clear violation of UN Security Council Resolutions.

We urge North Korea to engage in good faith with the US and take concrete steps towards complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearisation.
