Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency board meetings: pilot of public sessions
The agency will pilot holding board meetings in public in 2016.
The agency will be piloting a public session at its board meeting in February.
The public session will be held in the morning before a private session in the afternoon. By necessity, discussion of policy matters in development, commercial or staff confidentiality, certain emerging regulatory issues, forthcoming announcements or publications will be taken in private session.

The first pilot meeting in public session will take place on:

A second meeting in public session will take place later in the year.
There is space for 10 members of the public to attend the public session of the open board meeting. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
