Hugo Swire congratulates new Mongolian Prime Minister

Foreign Office Minister for Asia, Hugo Swire, has welcomed the appointment of Chimed Saikhanbileg as Prime Minister of Mongolia.

“I congratulate Prime Minister Saikhanbileg on his appointment, and send him every good wish in his new role.

“I was privileged to visit Mongolia earlier this year and discuss the many opportunities in Mongolian-British relations with Mr Saikhanbileg, when he was Cabinet Secretary. I am confident that his leadership will help drive forward the country’s rapid development, and that it will unlock the potential for greater foreign investment. I look forward to the appointment of the rest of his Cabinet.”
