Government Ministers mark Anti Slavery Day

Foreign Office Minister Baroness Anelay and Home Office Minister for Modern Slavery and Organised Crime Karen Bradley mark Anti Slavery Day.

On Monday 20 October the Foreign and Commonwealth Office will host an event to mark Anti Slavery Day at which Foreign Office Minister of State Baroness Anelay and Home Office Minister for Modern Slavery and Organised Crime Karen Bradley MP will raise awareness of this horrendous practice, the action the UK is undertaking and the importance of working with partners overseas to tackle this global issue.

The UK Government is determined to play a leading role in the global fight against the evil of Modern Slavery and will continue to work closely with partners overseas to outmanoeuvre and arrest the criminals who profit from enslaving people.
