G8 Dementia Stakeholder workshop in Russia

A G8 Dementia Stakeholder workshop involving 15 Russian medical experts & scientists was held at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Moscow today.

Held jointly by Dr Julia Knights, head of the UK’s Science & Innovation Network (SIN) – Russia and Russia’s Ministry of Health, the aim was to inform the agenda for the Ministerial G8 Dementia Summit on 10-11 December in London which Russian Health Minister, Veronica Skvortsova is expected to attend.

It is also hoped that a raft of Dementia specialists from Academia and industry from Russia including those that attended today’s meeting will also be at the Summit in London.
