Further amendments in response to NHS Future Forum

New amendments to the Health and Social Care Bill.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

New Government amendments to make further changes to the Health and Social Care Bill are now available . These continue the process of taking forward recommendations made by the NHS Future Forum, as well as from the wider listening exercise. The majority of amendments include changing the name of ‘commissioning consortia’ to ‘clinical commissioning groups’.

The amendments are set to be discussed by Parliament during the Bill’s Report stage in the House of Commons on 6th and 7th September. Further information about the Bill is available on the Parliament website
