CBD product seized
Details of CBD product seized at a Stanford-Le-Hope depot.
A package containing an illegal veterinary medicine was identified by Border Force officers at a depot in Stanford-Le-Hope.
The package arrived from Switzerland containing medicine destined for an address in North-east Lincolnshire.
The medicine was detained and subsequently seized by an Inspector from the VMD.
The following medicine was seized:
- 1 x 10 ml bottle of Formula Swiss CBD Oil for Cats
This product is not authorised for use in GB or NI and was not accompanied by any relevant certification to permit the import.
The medicine was seized under Regulation 25 (Importation of unauthorised veterinary medicinal products) of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013.
