Foreign Office Minister welcomes Kuwaiti participation in the Olympics

Minister for the Middle East Alistair Burt spoke after the International Olympic Committee's decision to lift the country's suspension.

“We welcome the agreement between Kuwait and the IOC that allows the Kuwaiti Team and Delegation to participate in the Olympics. We look forward to seeing them here in London. We are proud that London 2012 will be the most inclusive Olympics since the Games began.”
