Foreign Office Minister comments on flooding in Republic of Korea

Foreign Office Minister Jeremy Browne sends sympathy to all those involved in the floods and landslides in the Republic of Korea.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Speaking today he said:

“I am very saddened to hear of the floods and landslides in the Republic of Korea, where dozens of people have died and many are still missing. I send my thoughts and sympathy to all those involved, including the rescue teams who I know are working tirelessly to reach as many people as quickly as possible. I visited the Republic of Korea earlier this month and I know how much this shock will be felt by all Koreans.”
