Foreign Office condemns attack by Israeli settlers

Commenting on the attack by Israeli settlers on Palestinians on 16 August, a Foreign Office spokesperson said:

“We condemn the criminal attack by extremist Israeli settlers on a car near Bethlehem, which resulted in severe burns to several members of a Palestinian family. We welcome Prime Minister Netanyahu’s condemnation of this serious incident and his stated commitment that the Israeli authorities will investigate it thoroughly”.
