Cyber Security Strategy - one year on

The National Cyber Security Strategy was launched one year ago on 25 November 2011. Francis Maude, Minister for the Cabinet Office, has made a Written Ministerial Statement to Parliament about the progress against the objectives of the Strategy.

Francis Maude and Chloe Smith, Minister for Political and Constitutional Reform are both speaking about the achievements of the first year and are making new announcements at the Information Assurance (IA12) Conference. As part of the announcements, Francis Maude will highlight future work on a new UK National Computer Emergency Response team, further work on education and skills, Cyber Reservists for the MOD and a Growth Partnership with the private sector to boost the Cyber Security Sector in the UK.
