Cumbria Superfast broadband pilot

Cumbria County Council has begun the procurement process for their superfast broadband pilot. The procurement is to be run as an open competitive tender.

Cumbria is one of four areas selected as market testing pilots for Superfast broadband, to help establish the commercial costs and challenges involved in rolling out superfast broadband to the to the third of UK homes and businesses that the market alone will not reach.
