Crime news: tender for 2015 prison law contract work opens

Invitations to tender for prison law work.

A procurement process opened on 23 June 2015 to tender for:

  • prison law only
  • prison law and appeals and reviews
  • appeals and reviews only

Successful applicant organisations will be authorised to deliver legal aid services in the above classes of work under the 2015 Own Client Contract.

The closing date for submitting responses to this procurement process is 12pm on 21 July 2015.

Existing contracts to deliver these services come to an end on 10 January 2016.

Organisations will only be able to continue delivering services after this date if they have successfully tendered for a contract to deliver new prison law and/or appeals and reviews work. These contracts will start on 11 January 2016.

Responses to the tender must be made online through the eTendering system.

Applications for this tender are only open to organisations which have not previously applied for work under the 2015 Own Client Contract.

Questions

Any questions about the content of the tender or the ‘Information for Applicants’ (IFA) document must be raised through the eTendering system by 12pm 3 July 2015.

Questions of wider interest will be collated and answered through a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document which will be published on the crime tenders page.

A final FAQ document will be published on 9 July 2015.
