Crime news: reminder about free CPD provider training events

Spaces available in Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester for Public Defender Service events.

There is still time to book a place on one of the free training events being run by the Public Defender Service (PDS) Advocacy Unit.

The evening events for crime providers are all Continuous Professional Development (CPD) accredited and there are 2 points for each session.

Spaces are available in Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester for sessions running between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

The PDS was recently expanded to include the PDS Advocacy Unit. The Advocacy Unit specialises in serious and complex Crown Court cases and offers criminal advocacy services in a broad range of cases.
