Crime news: final checks on police station representatives’ data

Check your details by 28 November 2014 on updated list of validated police station representatives.

The police station representative validation exercise which began on 27 May 2014 has been completed and we would like your help making final checks on our spreadsheet.

Providers should double check that any representative being use\d for police station advice is listed on the register of probationary and accredited representatives.

The register can be viewed on the standard crime contract 2010 page on GOV.UK – see below.

Requesting amendments

If any changes are needed you just need to email the police station representative service by 28 November 2014. You can email any amendments using the link below.

For example, you would need to get in touch if you believe someone has been wrongly excluded.

We will republish a final version of the register of probationary and accredited representatives on GOV.UK at the beginning of December 2014.

Why this is important

The register needs to be accurate because it will be used by us to make payments to holders of a standard crime contract 2010 for giving legal advice at police stations.

If you believe someone has been wrongly excluded then you need to contact the police station reps service on the email address below.

Requests for this exercise cannot be handled via the telephone.
