Civil news: CCMS programme and user-survey update

Survey to collect your views links to roll-out timetable for Client and Cost Management System (CCMS).

We have now received more than 14,000 applications through CCMS and almost 700 providers are actively using the system.

CCMS survey

We’re keen to hear your views on CCMS through our survey of CCMS users.

We’re sending out the survey gradually, reflecting the phased roll-out of the system.

Providers who began using the system between March 2014 and May 2014 were asked for their views in July 2014.

On 27 October 2014, we sent the survey out to providers who were invited to use the system between June 2014 and August 2014, as well as all chambers using the system.

Providers who were invited to use CCMS during September 2014 will be given the opportunity to provide feedback in early December 2014.

Feedback so far

As a result of the feedback we received from providers surveyed in July 2014, we have:

  1. Re-designed the support you receive after you start using the system and launched weekly master classes. The master classes are designed for users with some experience of using CCMS. They cover key system areas and are now available for both legal aid providers and advocates. More information is available on EventBrite – see below.
  2. Made improvements to training and guidance materials. We continue to review and update these materials based on your feedback. Individuals who do the training are less likely to experience issues.
  3. Identified potential system enhancements which are currently under investigation. We will look to keep you updated with our progress in the coming weeks.
