Cibapet CBD products seized
CBD products for dogs and cats stopped at Stanford-Le-Hope depot.
A package containing illegal veterinary medicines was identified by Border Force officers at a depot in Stanford-Le-Hope destined for an address in Coventry.
The medicines were detained and subsequently seized by an Inspector from the VMD
The following medicines were seized:
- 200 x Cibapet CBD tablets for cats
- 2 x 10 ml bottles Cibapet CBD liquid for dogs
None of the products listed are authorised for use in GB or NI and they were not accompanied by any relevant certification to permit their import.
The medicines were seized under Regulation 25 (Importation of unauthorised veterinary medicinal products) of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013.
