Our portal update enables customers to withdraw official searches online.
From today, 9 January, business customers can use our online transaction channel, the portal, to withdraw official searches they have lodged with us.
This new option offers customers a quicker, easier alternative to writing to us to formally withdraw a search.
Customers may want to withdraw a search to correct the information they have sent us, or when a house sale falls through.
We tested the new feature with customers to ensure it meets their needs.
