Our portal update enables customers to withdraw official searches online.
From today, 9 January, business customers can use our online transaction channel, the portal, to withdraw official searches they have lodged with us.
This new option offers customers a quicker, easier alternative to writing to us to formally withdraw a search.
Customers may want to withdraw a search to correct the information they have sent us, or when a house sale falls through.
We tested the new feature with customers to ensure it meets their needs.

Giving customers new, online opportunities to interact with us is part of the changes we are making to the way we support our customers.
