Bidding for Human Rights and Democracy Programme in Thailand starts

British Embassy in Bangkok is pleased to announce a call for bids to the FCO’s Human Rights and Democracy Programme fund.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

We are pleased to announce the 2014/15 call for bids. In the first instance we will require submission of a concept note by 28 February - please see the attached bidding form and its guidelines (MS Word Document, 296 KB). In Thailand we shall consider bids within the following thematic areas:

  • global torture prevention
  • promotion and protection of freedom of expression
  • business and human rights
  • preventing sexual violence in conflict

Human Rights and Democracy Programme: 2014/2015

The Human Rights and Democracy Programme (HRDP) is the FCO’s dedicated fund supporting human rights and democracy work overseas. The Programme aims to make a difference to people’s lives, helping to build the capacity of governments and civil society to promote and protect human rights. In 2013/14, we supported over 80 projects worldwide.
