Details of the notice issued to Vetmedsdirect.co.uk. Published in January 2014.
Vetmedsdirect.co.uk, Macmerry, East Lothian. This improvement notice was issued due to human medicinal products being advertised for administration to animals on the website www.vetmedsdirect.co.uk.
Despite warnings the products were not removed from sale. The advertising constituted a breach of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations.
The improvements required are to review the website www.vetmedsdirect.co.uk and remove all human medicinal products which are advertised for administration to animals.
This notice has been complied with.
