Ambassador Casey spoke to Roughton International about transport infrastructure projects

This leading British consultancy works on supervision of works on the Corridor Vc motorway - a very important transport infrastacture.

Ambassador Nigel Casey visited the company Roughton International at their office in Sarajevo on 27 February 2013.

Mr Edin Begovic, Regional Manager for Eastern Europe, introduced Ambassador Casey to Roughton’s activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Among other road projects, Roughton is currently engaged in supervision of works for the Bijaca-Pocitelj section on the Corridor Vc motorway.

Roughton International is a leading British consultancy providing development solutions to developing and emerging countries worldwide. Their expertise include transportation (roads and road transport), infrastructure (water supply, sanitation and waste management) and buildings (health, education, institutional and social housing).

From its office in Sarajevo, Roughton coordinates activities in the wider region too, including projects in Serbia, Romania, Albania, Moldova and Turkey.

Ambassador Casey stressed out the importance of transport infrastructure, particularly related to continuous efforts on Corridor Vc, as a precondition for further development of the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
