Aggressive vitamins supplier wound-up in court
Company that sold vitamin and healthcare supplements to the vulnerable using high pressure sales tactics has been wound up in the courts.
Young Forever Limited was wound up in the public interest on 4 February 2019 in the High Court of Justice before Judge Prentis. The Official Receiver has been appointed as liquidator.
At the hearing to consider the petition to wind up the company, the court heard that Young Forever was incorporated in June 2018, with registered offices in Kensington, West London.
The Insolvency Service conducted confidential investigations after it received complaints about Young Forever’s trading practices.
Investigators discovered that the company sold vitamins and healthcare supplements through cold calling members of the public who were either elderly or vulnerable.
Young Forever used call centres based in India and victims said that sales staff were persistent and would call repeatedly. Sales staff also falsely claimed that Young Forever was linked to government bodies, healthcare providers or the NHS.
The court also heard that Young Forever’s marketing and sales techniques were improper, applied excessive mark ups in excess of 1000% and the company failed to maintain or preserve adequate records.
Irshard Mohammed, Senior Investigator for the Insolvency Service, said:
“Young Forever’s victims were the elderly and the vulnerable and many more people will be protected from their aggressive sales tactics thanks to the court’s decision to wind-up the company.”

Young Forever Limited (Company number: 11438575) was incorporated on 28 June 2018. The current registered office is located at Office 4, 219 Kensington High Street, London, W8 6BD, being a serviced office address.
The current recorded director of the company is Mr Shadab Shaikh .
The petitions to wind up the company was presented in the High Court of Justice on 19 December 2019, under the provisions of section 124A of the Insolvency Act 1986 following confidential enquiries by Company Investigations under section 447 of the Companies Act 1985, as amended.
