  • local government finance, including the Settlement, LGF reform, business rates and council tax policy, social care funding, and the local government pension scheme
  • local government policy, including Oflog, stewardship, local audit, and governance reform
  • building safety - remediation and regulation regimes
  • climate change, Net Zero and energy efficiency (building regulations)
  • integration strategy and communities
  • Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIP) and delivery/implementation departmental challenge
  • planning casework – including Holocaust Memorial decision maker
  • legislation: business rates
