- MP security and VIP protection
- online safety
- anti-corruption

Dan Jarvis was appointed Minister of State (Security Minister) jointly in the Home Office and the Cabinet Office on 21 July 2026.
He was previously Secretary of State for Defence from 11 June 2026 to 20 July 2026, Minister of State at the Home Office from 6 July 2024 to 11 June 2026, and Minister of State at the Cabinet Office from 6 September 2025 to 11 June 2026.
