Consultation description

As part of our market investigation into veterinary services for household pets in the UK, we have published the draft:

• Veterinary Services Market Investigation (Funding) Order 2026
• Explanatory Note to this Order
• Veterinary Services Market Investigation Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (Funding) Undertakings 2026

We are consulting on these draft documents, including the level of the levy which will be payable by veterinary businesses to the RCVS to re-imburse the costs it will incur between March 2026 and March 2027 and the basis of its calculation.
