Consultation on whether to update the GB road vehicle type approval scheme to accept certain new safety and environmental standards.

Consultation description

Road vehicles must have GB type approval before they can go on sale in Great Britain.

This consultation seeks views on whether GB type approval should:

• permit Euro 6e emissions standards for cars and light goods vehicles as an alternative to the current Euro 6d requirement
• accept certain other other safety and environmental standards
