In our animal welfare strategy for England,  we committed to bringing together a working group on fur, with involvement from both industry experts and those who support restrictions on the trade in fur, to explore concerns and the different ways in which they could be addressed. 

We will consider the evidence presented in this summary of responses as part of this work, along with other relevant evidence.

We want to know what you think about the fur trade in Great Britain.

We are interested in your views surrounding the social, economic and animal welfare impacts associated with the fur trade, both at home and abroad.

We’ll use the evidence gathered to help inform future government policy in relation to the fur trade.
