Detail of feedback received
This publication summarises the responses to the Call for Evidence on the Green Deal Framework.
There were 107 responses to the Call for Evidence from a variety of types of organisations. Overall many saw scope for the scheme to play a useful role in future, with some supporting the view that an improved Framework could lead to increased activity and benefits. There was also considerable support for simplification, and taking account of wider industry changes such as Each Home Counts.
This call for evidence is to improve our knowledge of stakeholders’ views on the Green Deal Framework, and whether there is scope for changing the framework so that it can better support current and future needs.
We are seeking views on the framework as a whole, all the elements within it and on factors that may warrant changes to it. The government will ensure throughout any review that the interests of consumers are foremost.
