The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is seeking views on its review of undertakings given by British Aerospace plc, now BAE Systems plc, arising from its acquisition of the Marconi Electronic Systems business of General Electric Company plc on 29 November 1999.

Consultation description

The undertakings included measures to safeguard competition and to address national security concerns arising in the defence sector.

The CMA is inviting views on its intention to re-adopt its 2017 advice to release the remaining undertakings.
