Experimental official statistics on benefits and employment for individuals and households on the DCLG Troubled Families programme.
The Troubled Families programme began in April 2012. It is led by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), and is a cross-departmental initiative to change how government intervenes and helps families with multiple problems. The programme is delivered by local authorities on a payment-by-results basis.
These official statistics cover benefits and employment for individuals and households on the programme. They have been developed using guidelines set out by the UK Statistics Authority, and while they undergo evaluation they are labelled as experimental statistics.
