Summary estimates of the number of disabled people in employment are published regularly by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) as part of their ‘Labour Market Overview, UK’ series. This publication presents more detailed analysis and break downs of those summary estimates.

Changes to the latest release

The latest annual release of statistics (published on 4 November 2025) includes new data on:

  • characteristics of those with “other” health conditions and disabilities

  • characteristics of disabled people with Autism and severe or specific learning difficulties

  • overlapping health conditions

  • labour market status of disabled people by labour market cluster

  • characteristics of young people not in education

  • employment or training and flows into employment by disability status

  • benefit and employment history of disabled people
