The Government has deposited a proposed set of changes to the High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Bill in Parliament, in the form of a Supplementary Environmental Statement and Additional Provision known as ‘Supplementary Environmental Statement 4 and Additional Provision 5 (December 2015)’ or SES4 and AP5 (December 2015).
An Additional Provision is deposited in Parliament during the Select Committee process and gives rise to a new petitioning period on the Additional Provision. It also gives rise to a consultation on the Supplementary Environmental Statement 4 and Additional Provision 5 Environmental Statement.
These changes relate to the following community forum areas (CFAs) of the Phase One route:
- CFA6 (South Ruislip to Ickenham)
- CFA7 (Colne Valley)
- CFA10 (Dunsmore, Wendover and Halton)
- CFA11 (Stoke Mandeville and Aylesbury)
- CFA12 (Waddesdon and Quainton)
- CFA13 (Calvert, Steeple Claydon, Twyford and Chetwode)
- CFA15 (Greatworth to Lower Boddington)
- CFA20 (Curdworth to Middleton)
- CFA21 (Drayton Bassett, Hints and Weeford)
- CFA22 (Whittington to Handsacre)
- CFA24 (Birmingham Interchange and Chelmsley Wood)
The petitioning period for Additional Provision 5 (December 2015) will finish on 8 January 2016.
The consultation on the Supplementary Environmental Statement 4 and Additional Provision 5 Environmental Statement will finish on 22 January 2016.
