Single Payment Scheme
The Single Payment Scheme (SPS) is the main agricultural subsidy scheme in the EU. It was replaced by the Basic Payment Scheme in 2015.
The Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) replaced SPS on 1 January 2015. Go to www.gov.uk/cap-reform to find out more.
In England, SPS is administered by the Rural Payments Agency (RPA).
You can’t apply for an SPS payment anymore because the deadline for 2014 has now passed.
