Pension Credit is extra money for pensioners to bring their weekly income up to a minimum amount.

Changes to Pension Credit applications and awards statistics

The Pension Credit applications and awards statistics have been released on a quarterly basis (each November, February, May and August) since November 2024.

From the May 2026 release onwards, the Pension Credit application and award statistics have moved from a quarterly series to an annual publication, and will now be published in the last week of May each year.
