National waste crime surveys (England)
Results and findings from the Environment Agency's waste crime surveys.
The National Waste Crime Survey was established by the Environment Agency. It draws upon the experience and perception of waste crime from stakeholders including:
- the waste industry
- local authorities
- environmental consultants
- landowners
- farmers
It provides the Environment Agency with independent metrics on the scale and nature of waste crime that are unaffected by our operational resources or pressures.
The Environment Agency also publishes updates about its work on waste crime on the ‘Creating a better place’ blog.
