Insolvency Demographics

This collection brings together the Insolvency Service's Official Statistics publications containing breakdowns of individual insolvencies in England & Wales by location, age and gender.

These statistics releases contain annual data on individual insolvency (people who are unable to pay debts and enter formal procedures), broken down by location, age and gender.

Demographic breakdowns of corporate insolvencies (for example, bu location and size) are not currently available. The quarterly Insolvency Statistics provide breakdowns of corporate insolvencies by industry.
