This page provides access to statements on cannabidiol (CBD) and hemp‑derived ingredients from a joint Subgroup of the Advisory Committee on Novel Foods and Processes (ACNFP) and the Committee on Toxicity (COT). The Subgroup was established to support the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and Food Standards Scotland (FSS) in assessing the safety of these products. All outputs from the Subgroups work were reviewed by both the ACNFP and COT before publication.
