Latest aviation statistics

Aviation statistics provides information on activity at UK airports, passengers, volume of freight handled, punctuality, UK airlines, major international airports and airlines, casualties caused by aviation and air proximity incidents, passenger experience of air travel, security screening and emissions from aviation.

Most of these statistics are collected by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and other organisations external to the department.

All of the aviation statistics published are official statistics. The department’s view is that these statistics, which are not designated as national statistics, are robust and have been produced to a suitable standard.
