1. Application for need for a Designated Premises Supervisor to be disapplied

Community premises can apply to have the standard mandatory conditions under Section 19 of the Licensing Act 2003 removed from their premises licence. If the premises are genuinely made available for community benefit most of the time, and accessible by a broad range of persons and sectors of the local community as a whole, then the premises can apply.

2. Provisional statement

A Premise must have a Premises Licence from the Licensing Authority if they wish to supply alcohol or provide regulated entertainment, or if they want to provide hot food or hot drink between the hours of 11pm and 5am, to members of the public.

3. Application for a premises licence

To provide late-night refreshments and regulated entertainment, and sell alcohol, you need a licence from the local authority if you are in England and Wales.
