The Open Internet Access (Amendment Etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018

This instrument is being made using powers in the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

Sifting committees’ recommendation

The sifting committees agreed with the government that this statutory instrument does not have to have a debate in parliament, though one may still occur.
