Summary of case

In January 2013, the OFT launched a formal investigation into a suspected breach of competition law committed by an undertaking alleged to be dominant in the provision of business continuity services. The investigation was under Chapter II of the Competition Act 1998.

The OFT decided on 1 August 2013 that it is no longer an administrative priority, at this time, to continue a CA98 investigation in respect of this case. This does not constitute a view on the substance of the complaint.
