Claim your State Pension online
Find out what you need to do and the information you need before you can start your State Pension online claim. You must be within 4 months of your State Pension age.
You can still claim online if:
- you haven’t received a letter from the Pension Service inviting you to claim (the BR33 letter and booklet)
- you’ve deferred your State Pension
You’ll need to sign up for a Government Gateway account and register for the State Pension online service. You’ll get a user ID and be sent an activation code in the post within 7 days.
