Bird flu: near Skirlaugh, East Riding of Yorkshire, Yorkshire (AIV 2022/235)

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) was confirmed in other captive birds on 24 December 2022.

Update 5 April 2023: following successful completion of disease control activities and surveillance within the zone, the 3km captive bird (monitoring) controlled zone has been revoked.

The captive birds on the premises have been humanely culled.
