Following successful completion of disease control activities and surveillance in the zone near Danehill, Wealden, East Sussex (AIV 2025/83), the captive bird (monitoring) controlled zone has been revoked.

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 was confirmed in captive birds near Danehill, Wealden, East Sussex (AIV 2025/83).
A 3km captive bird (monitoring) controlled zone has been declared around the premises. All birds on the premises have been humanely culled.
