Judicial Summary

Restricted operator’s licence. Operator stopped using his operating centre and failed to notify the Traffic Commissioner. He then failed to respond to correspondence warning him that the Traffic Commissioner was minded to revoke his licence under s.26 of the Goods Vehicle (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995. Licence revoked. Appellant accepted at the appeal that the Traffic Commissioner “had done the right thing”. Appeal dismissed.
